Julie Jewels Smoot, a distinguished Navy Veteran, Author and Reiki Master, is also known for her significant contribution as a Sound Alchemist. Her profound influence has resonated through the milieux of many individuals who have experienced solace in her music.

The year 2021 marked an important milestone on my personal and professional journey towards harnessing the power of sound healing. This was underscored by the acquisition of my first Gong instrument – The Heart Gong - to aid in my personal healing following the irreplaceable loss of my mother to metastatic breast cancer.

Subsequently, I embarked on an intensive path involving rigorous online training sessions and program certifications with an objective to gain accreditation as a reputable Sound Alchemist. In fact, from 2021 through till 2022, I invested time and effort into acquiring various sound-healing instruments that would further enhance my practice.

Noteworthy validation came sooner than anticipated; 'Medicine of Sound' acknowledged my passion-driven efforts by bestowing upon me their esteemed certification in sound healing. A series of other accolades closely followed thereafter signifying steady yet profound progress within this unique realm.

On the anniversary of my mothers death, I went to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I took my hand pan with me and Calming the Inner Storm was born. When I got back home to my apartment at Sanctuary of Powell Place in Pittsboro, NC. I recorded my song Calming the inner Storm, edited it and submitted it through Sound cloud to be distributed. Then I wrote Through the Storm that I wrote and played on my black hand pan. After that Angel beauty was composed on my hand pan that I call my Angel, I composed, played and released and Angel Beauty

Commemorating the anniversary of my mother's passing, I found solace at the serene Myrtle Beach in South Carolina. Accompanied by my hand pan, a harmonious melody emerged which christened as "Calming The Inner Storm". This piece was nurtured further post returning to my residence located in the tranquil Sanctuary of Powell Place, Pittsboro, NC.

The composition 'Calming The Inner Storm' then underwent meticulous recording and editing before it was disseminated through Sound Cloud for a wider audience reach. Simultaneously crafting an exploration within this storm led to creating another melodic narrative, termed "Through the Storm." This particular musical story line unfolded on my black hand pan enriching its emotional stratum.

Following these creations came “Angel Beauty,” crafted on beloved hand pan affectionately termed as “My Angel.” Once composed and performed, this enchanting harmony was released into the world as well manifesting yet another auditory experience to be savored.

About two months later, I recorded a 50 minute Jupiter Gong Sound Healing immersion that I submitted to be distributed and is now available on Apple Music. Also, during this time I released a 30 minute sound healing immersion playing my Chiron Gong

Approximately two months subsequent to our last update, I had the privilege of creating a 50-minute Jupiter Gong Sound Healing session. This recorded immersion was subsequently submitted for distribution and is now conveniently accessible through Apple Music's extensive digital library. Concurrently, within this same period, I also launched an immersive sound healing experience encompassing a duration of approximately 30 minutes and employing the resonant sounds of my cherished Chiron Gong instrument.

In the year 2022, I undertook a comprehensive transformation of my garage into a dedicated sound healing studio. This entailed meticulously repairing the concrete, installing insulation and drywall, applying a fresh coat of paint and finishing with epoxy flakes on the floor. Upon completion of the studio, I initiated, recorded, and launched my first two albums— "Healing Journey" and "Inner Serenity." These marked not only an epoch in her artistic trajectory but also ushered in a period of insightful journey for those who partook in her music.

Julie deeply roots her work in spiritual connection coupled with an unwavering commitment to generating heart-rendered music; this quintessential blend holds great appeal for individuals seeking tranquility and restorative experiences through melody.

In 2023, she continued to share her gifts with the world, releasing a total of 8 albums that reflect her emotional journey and spiritual connection.
