Welcome to this guided meditation for self-care. Find a comfortable position, either sitting or lying down, and gently close your eyes. Take a deep breath in through your nose, and exhale slowly through your mouth. Let’s begin.


Start by bringing your awareness to your body. Feel the weight of your body on the surface beneath you. Notice any tension or discomfort you may be feeling and allow it to release with each breath out. Take a moment to scan your body from head to toe, noticing any areas that feel tense or tired.


Now, imagine yourself in a peaceful and serene location of your choice. It could be a beach, a forest, or any place that brings you a sense of calm and tranquility. As you visualize this place, feel a wave of relaxation washing over you. Allow yourself to fully immerse in the peaceful atmosphere.


As you breathe in, visualize yourself inhaling healing energy and positivity. As you breathe out, imagine any negative energy, tension, or stress leaving your body. Feel the exchange of energy with each breath in and out, rejuvenating your mind, body, and spirit.


Now, bring your attention to your mind. Thoughts may pop up, and that’s absolutely normal. Just acknowledge them without judgment and gently guide your attention back to the present moment. This is your time for self-care, a time to let go of any worries or burdens.


Take a moment to think about what self-care means for you. It could be engaging in activities that bring you joy, taking time for yourself to relax, or practicing self-compassion and self-love. Whatever it may be, know that you deserve this time for self-care and nourishment.


Now, envision a warm, healing light radiating from within you. This light represents self-care, self-love, and inner peace. Allow this light to expand and fill every cell in your body. With each breath, feel this light growing brighter and stronger.


As you bask in this radiant light, repeat these affirmations to yourself:


– I am deserving of self-care.

– My well-being is a priority.

– I honor and respect my own needs.

– I am deserving of love and kindness.
